Heather Mohler
Heather Mohler is an Engagement Manager at GoodCitizen, where she leads candidate research, pipeline generation, and assessment. She draws on strong analytical skills and deep knowledge of the social sector to identify high-potential candidates for client organizations. Heather is energized by building relationships with candidates and clients in service of successful, long-lasting placements.
Heather has honed her project management, research, change management, and stakeholder engagement skills through managing projects across social and public sectors. She has a keen sense of how systems, policies, and practices intersect – and the leadership required to tackle complex problems across diverse issue areas. Combined with Heather’s intellectual curiosity, her skills and experiences enhance her ability to identify and engage exceptional leaders on behalf of search clients.
Heather began her career in executive search before going on to support cities, states, and tribes in implementing youth-serving systems change efforts. Most recently, Heather worked at a children’s mental health nonprofit where she served as a project manager on a federal grant aimed at ensuring young people involved with child welfare have access to timely and specialized mental health services. To executive search, she brings particular expertise in youth justice and child welfare.
Heather holds a bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and a masters in social policy from the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of work she enjoys skiing, live music, and leisurely walks with her greyhound.
